Working as a Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools® Servant Leader Intern is a wonderful addition to the resume of any student interested in teaching or child advocacy. The Children’s Defense Fund, founded by Marian Wright Edelman in Washington, DC, provides excellent training, which is included as part of this summer experience.
