Become a Site Partner
Through education and academic opportunities, lives can be changed. Through service and working together, hearts can be changed, too. Help your organization become a public leader in the future of Charlotte’s low-income children who are at-risk of school failure. Site Partners may be corporations, faith groups, foundations, or any who want to cultivate a deeper sense of community within their organization by serving the community around them.
What does it take to become a Site Partner?
♦ The drive and desire to make a difference in children's lives.
♦ A sustainable commitment to continue serving children. Long-term commitments have proven successful for children and families in Freedom School.
♦ Physical space (5 or more classrooms, one large gathering space, outside play space, one office) or a partnership with a school to host the site.
♦ Willing volunteers to support scholars during the summer.
♦ Financial commitment to support children.
What volunteer opportunities will my organization have as a Site Partner?
Volunteers are an extremely important part of Freedom School. FSP will work with your organization to engage your community members and help build meaningful relationships with the children served at your site.
