Jacqueline Hinds is a native of Queens, New York who migrated to the Charlotte area in October 2001. Currently residing in Monroe, NC she pursued her Masters in Arts of Teaching Degree for Elementary Education from Wingate and graduated May 2009. She is a mother of two children and an advocate for child literacy and success in education especially for those struggling with academics. She serves as year-round Site Coordinator at the Seigle Point site where she trains and mentors college students to work with children in the community from grades K – 8. It is here where she believes all children can and have a right to learn with quality education. Her motto is "Reading opens the windows to the world so one can foresee all possibilities."
