Volunteer during Harambee time, a “pep rally” that starts the afternoon with cheers, chants, songs, and a guest reader who shares their love of reading.

Where? Billingsville Elementary School, Sedgefield Elementary School, and Seigle Point Community Center.

When? 15 minutes at the start of program time

Why? To inspire a love of reading in our scholars as a positive community role model.

1.      Every Friday is Harambee at Afterschool.

Sedgefield Elementary (K-5) on Fridays from  3:00 – 3:15pm - Closed Week of April 2-6 for CMS Spring Break

Seigle Point (K-8) on Fridays from  3:50 – 4:05pm - Open week of CMS Spring Break April 2-5

Billingsville Elementary (K-5) on Fridays from  3:15 - 3:40pm - Closed Week of April 2-6 for CMS Spring Break
