Angie Gover is the Director of Afterschool Programs for Freedom School Partners. She has the pleasure of overseeing the success of our three Afterschool Programs throughout the school year. Since 2010 Angie has worn many hats as the Afterschool Program Coordinator, Freedom School Site Coordinator and Regional Coordinator. Angie strives to develop leadership amongst her Site Coordinators and Interns. She particular enjoys opening new sites and establishing a strong foundation for future sites growth and development. Prior to her current position Angie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and minor courses in Business Management at The Ohio State University of Columbus, OH followed by several years as an Elementary Teacher and Pre-School Principal. As the 2004 Director of the African American Voices (OSU), Angie also enjoys singing and performing whenever possible. Angie is a true advocate for our scholars and believes every child deserves a quality education.
