Macie Alexander Stewart joined Seigle Avenue Partners (now Freedom School Partners) in 2001 and has worn many hats as the agency has undergone growth and transition. Now the Director of Summer Programs, she oversees the summer programs and has the pleasure of thinking about summer all year. Macie particularly loves the relationships built while hiring the college student interns and site coordinators, registering scholars and their parents and working alongside site partners. Beginning in 1985 as the Director of Administration and Finance at Crisis Assistance Ministry, Macie has worked toward justice and change for those in poverty for over 25 years. An ordained elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Macie is married to Roger and between them they have 5 children and one son-in-law.
